Leaving Huntington WVa bound for Amsterdam and Bulgaria!
Well, here we are in Amsterdam. Tara in front of the Van Gogh museum.
The Bulldog Coffee Shop, one of those places you just have to visit when in Amsterdam.
I just happened to be wearing my Marine hat when we went.
Don't we look so happy? Maybe because we spent too much time in the Bulldog breathing deeply! ;-)

That is a lot of wooden shoes. We took a trip to a wooden shoe factory. I couldn't believe that they still use these wooden shoes today when doing their gardening! That is one big shoe we are sitting in.
Though they don't still use the windmills today, they keep them operational. There are only about 250 of these windmills left. They are protected by the government.
Look at these old wooden sail boats. There were 4 of them lined up at this marina in Volderdam, Holland. They were very well maintained.
